GourmEgg started almost by accident after experimenting with ideas and using leftover ingredients found in the refrigerator and the backs of cupboards. Cutting up a couple of sausages, adding various ingredients including an array of herbs and spices. Before we knew it we were making large volumes of scotch eggs to find the perfect combination of flavours and crust. Our scotch eggs are handmade with love and a desire to bring the humble scotch egg to life by using the finest local ingredients to produce our delicious GourmEgg.
Having a passion for all food has led us on this eggciting journey which has resulted in the creation of GourmEgg. Being creative with different ingredients and not being afraid to be inventive and push boundaries has led to the creation of GourmEgg. We are very proud of our little flavoursome balls of joy!
All the ingredients used to make our GourmEggs are sourced locally, using only the finest ingredients to ensure that we serve a top notch GourmEgg. We have a variety of flavours and are always dreaming up new ideas whilst listening to the ideas of others. We are not afraid to try the weird and wonderful and will always, where possible listen to the requests of our customers, family and friends.
